NCAE: Students as Commodities in the “Demand-Supply Fit”

Just recently, millions of graduating high school students
were required by the Department of Education to take a non-binding National
College Assessment Exam (NCAE) to determine their competencies and interests.
The agency accordingly will do this until the end of school year 2009 as a test
run eventually leading to a quality control system to weed out students not fit
for college education akin to the old National College Entrance Examinations (NCEE).
